When using the intelligent license plate recognition system, have you ever maintained the barrier gate?

Many customers pay much attention to the control system when purchasing the license plate recognition system, but often overlook the control equipment: the gate. In fact, the gate occupies a very important position in the entire system. It can be said that the normal operation of the system completely depends on the normal operation of the gate. Once the gate fails to operate, the system basically becomes paralyzed. Therefore, how to ensure the normal operation of the license plate recognition system requires parking lot managers to pay great attention.

Generally speaking, if the gate does not work properly, the license plate recognition system will have the following problems:

1. The gate does not raise the barrier after recognizing the license plate.

2. The gate does not lower the barrier after the vehicle passes.

3. The lowering process is abnormal and cannot reach the full position.

4. The gate cannot raise the barrier to the full position.

The main reasons for the failure are:

1. The vehicle detector does not detect the signal, so the barrier does not lower.

2. The gate does not raise the barrier, which may be due to a fault in the detector of the gate.

3. The gate does not rise or lower properly. This might be due to an abnormality in the gate's limit mechanism or the balance spring.

So, for the gates in the license plate recognition system, what specific maintenance tasks do we need to perform?

Firstly, the gates need to be cleaned frequently to ensure the smoothness of the gate lever surface. For the gate levers, the key rotating parts should be lubricated every three months to ensure normal lubrication. After 30,000 operations, check the balance spring and promptly make balance adjustments. Every six months, have professionals check for any wear and promptly replace the worn parts.

Secondly, if any minor faults are found during the use of the gate, check once a month whether the gate lever components are loose and if there are any signs of detachment. Once found, deal with it immediately to avoid incidents that may cause injury to people or vehicles.

Thirdly, check if the performance of the remote control of the gate is normal. The battery life of the remote control of the gate is generally one year. Pay attention to replacing the battery, and do not expose it to moisture, dropping, or impact. If the remote control range is too short, check if the installation position of the host is blocked by metal objects or if the battery is fully charged. The correct use and timely maintenance of any item can extend its service life. This is true for barrier gates as well. Although the appearance of parking lot barrier gates has reduced the need for manpower, for safety reasons, it is still necessary to arrange dedicated personnel to conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
